Ghee

Ingredients

2x blocks of organic unsalted butter

Method

In a small saucepan add 2x blocks of butter

Turn the heat onto medium and start to allow the butter to melt - allow butter to full melt this will take around 10 mins

Once the butter has fully melted continue to leave bubbling away for approximately another 5 min. This is when the dairy from the butter starts to separate and usually starts to sink down to the bottom. You will notice a brown/ white substance stuck to the bottom and the liquod butter will turn into a beautiful golden colour. This is ghee! Strain through a sieve into a glass jar. Store either at room temperature or in your fridge. You can use ghee in everything, cooking, baking, you name it!
